When and where you became a Christian: I grew up a preacher’s kid, cutting my teeth on church pews, so to speak.  I probably got “saved” out of guilt over a dozen times throughout my teenage years, but never really made Christ first in my life until June 19, 2005 at Word Alive.
How I got saved:  I finally had enough of the world and wasn’t satisfied.  I decided to quit running from the Lord.  I was visiting Word Alive from out of town one Sunday morning.  From the moment I walked in the door, I was overwhelmed with emotion and knew that I could not leave church that day without completely surrendering my life to God and walking away from my old ways.
Favorite movies:  Bull Durham, Karate Kid, The Rookie, The Last Samurai, Goonies,
Favorite food: I’ll eat anything.  I like to try different dishes at restaurants.  I don’t like to order the same thing every time.
Favorite music: I love live music!  Rock, Jazz, Pop…it doesn’t matter.  I love to watch bands just get lost in a song.
Favorite books: Once An Eagle, The Ragamuffin Gospel, Ministry Playbook {wink, wink}
Favorite store: Lowe’s…I find myself there more often than I should.
Favorite TV shows: Law & Order (bomp bomp), Baseball Tonight, Deadliest Catch, any home improvement show
First job: summer maintenance at a church
Hobbies: golf, reading, music, watching baseball…GO CUBS!
